A programme designed specifically for school children from first grade upwards.<\/p>\n
Girls and boys will enjoy a unique experience, following step by step the changes in the hazelnuts over the course of the seasons and, together with the prized fruit, will enter our processing workshop.<\/p>\n
They will be introduced to organic cultivation techniques and the strict regulations that need to be followed in order to gain PDO Roman Hazelnut status, and learn about the importance of biodiversity and protecting the land. We will explain how our way of running the farm is based on zero waste and the use of sustainable energy sources.<\/p>\n
At mid-morning, participants will be able to enjoy a tasty snack made with our organic hazelnut spreads (bread with hazelnut butter and spreads, water and fruit juice).<\/p>\n
